NAME

bl	- draw a break-line between two	points

FORMAT

     :bl;=P1;=P2[;...]

LEVEL

     1u

DESCRIPTION

The bl command draws a break-line between the two	specified
points. The line-type will be automatically set	to normal
(solid) and the line parameters are determined by the values
specified for pen,	color, break marker size and break marker
spacing on	the break-line status menu. (All dimensions are
specified in paper	units.) The command repeats.

Once a set	of typical parameters have been	set on the status
menu, selecting the SAVE	BREAK-LINE PARAMETERS button will
save these	settings to disk. These values will then be
automatically set each time the break-line command is used
     in	a new ARRIS session.

PROMPTS

     Break-Line: Enter	1st point (<CR>:exit)
Indicate the location for the start of the break-line,
or press <CR> to terminate the	command.

     Break-Line: Enter	2nd point (<CR>:restart)
Indicate the location for the	end of the break-line.
Pressing <CR>	restarts the command, prompting	for a new
	 1st point.

ERROR MESSAGES

Second point cannot be the	same as	the first.
This indicates	that the two points may	not be identical.
Continue by selecting an alternate second point.

Distance between points is	too small to insert break-line.
This indicates	that there is not enough room between the
two specified	points. The space between the two break-
line points must be at least 1/8"	larger	than the
current break marker size	parameter. Continue by
selecting an alternate	second point or press <CR> to
	 restart the command.
