where the ## is replaced by the current ARRIS version number such as 82, 83, etc. On machines running the UNIX Operating System, the $ARRIS directory may be in different locations. You can determine the actual directory by typing the following command:
${ARRIS}\ap\cjsa.vn\cjmenus.ap
[Windows OS]
${ARRIS}/ap/cjsa.vn/cjmenus.ap
[UNIX OS]
None of the standard ARRIS files under $ARRIS
are
modified by this module, which means that either ARRIS or ARRIS++ may
be updated at any time without conflict.
As the ARRIS++ module is used, it will create certain custom files in
the USR:config.dir
directory. However, standard
ARRIS configuration files are never changed by this module so there
are no compatibility issues involved with the installation and use
of ARRIS++.

The name of the ARRIS++ zip archive that you are installing includes
the number of the ARRIS version and spin with which it is intended
to be used.
Move the current version of ARRIS++ software out of the way by renaming its folder. To do this, go to the following location:
${ARRIS}\ap\cjsa.vn
[Windows OS]
${ARRIS}/ap/cjsa.vn
[UNIX OS]
and rename cjmenus.ap to something else such as
cjmenus.ap_OLD. Later, after a successful installation,
this renamed folder and all of its contents may be deleted.
${ARRIS}\ap
[Windows OS]
${ARRIS}/ap
[UNIX OS]
This creates a folder named cjmenus.ap
which
contains all of the ARRIS++ files.
* Note that the demo version of ARRIS++ is shipped
as one file and does not include documentation and various extra tools
supplied with a full release of ARRIS++.
To access the ARRIS++ documentation from within ARRIS, click on the QUERY icon (the ?) on the DESKTOP menu and select the ARRIS++ documentation button. Alternately, you can point your web browser directly at the file:
$ARRIS\ap\cjsa.vn\cjmenus.ap\doc\index.html
[Windows OS]
$ARRIS/ap/cjsa.vn/cjmenus.ap/doc/index.html
[UNIX OS]
If you have installed the DEMO version of the program, then the documentation is not included. However, complete documentation can be reviewed at the CJSA web site. Point your browser at:
http://cjsa.home.comcast.net/aplus/APLUS/ap_index.html
Also remember that all SAVE features are disabled in the DEMO version.

This will add one or more of the following files to the cjsa.vn/cjmenus.ap subdirectory:
cj_patch.sm
[Supplemental sigmac library]
cj_patch.ml
[Supplemental menu library]
cj_patch.README
[Patch information]
If a previous patch was installed, then some or all of these file may already exist. Patches are cumulative so you should overwrite all of these files if the unzip utility prompts for this.
